Mission Statement

The mission of the AIDS Task Force in Northeast Indiana is to help improve the quality of life for men, women, and children with HIV and AIDS, to educate the community in order to decrease the incidence of HIV and STD infection and to increase the public's understanding of and compassionate response to HIV and AIDS.

Bring your pink!  And don't miss the annual Lesbian Gay Dinner Dance at the Grand Wayne Center in downtown Fort Wayne!  Save the Date:  Saturday, October 2, 2010!  This great event has been going strong for over 20 years.  The 22nd annual Lesbian Gay Dinner Dance features Paul Marinaro, one of Chicago's brightest cabaret singers.  Along with dinner and dancing, there will be both a live and silent auction featuring many favorite items including dinners, trips, original artwork, and more including an array of flamingos designed by local artists.

Tickets have been mailed and prices remain the same as last year:  $20 Dance Only ticket;  $25 Dance Only ticket (at door); $50 Dinner & Dance ticket; $100 Mayor's Reception at the downtown Courtyard by Marriott, Dinner & Dance ticket.

6:00 PM:  Doors open/Cash Bar
7:30 PM:  Dinner
8:15 PM:  Dance and Live Auction Begin

9:00 PM:  Paul Marinaro

A block of rooms at the Hilton is reserved at a special rate of $89 or $119, which includes breakfast for two, a champagne split and chocolates.  Call 260.420.1100 by September 10.  Limited rooms available.

 

Food Pantry

We are always in need of non-perishable goods for our food pantry: soup, canned fruits & vegetables, pasta, sauce, peanut butter, canned meats, rice, hot cereal, and toiletries. 

Please drop off groceries at the office any weekday between 8:30AM and 5PM.  Thank you!
